Cat ET creates a big variety of construction devices

Caterpillar creates a big variety of construction devices, like trucks, bulldozers and higher speed diesel motors. Even though conducting upkeep on these engines, diagnostics are conducted applying a computer program that electronically checks the engine. Operating a diagnostic plan on an engine requires the guesswork from identifying what matters require to become addressed.

Cat ET is the software based service tool which gives the service technician the capability to communicate and work with the electronic controls on Caterpillar products. I had heard before that there are 2 ET version, customer and dealer. It looks like this CAT ET diagnostic tool is more tend to the dealer. But I think this CAT diagnostic tool is for both customer and dealer.

Cat “ET Trainer” is now included in ET System. It enables Users to train and practice working with CAT Caterpillar ET without a Communications adapter or Electronic Management Module (ECM).This can be a free of charge feature of Cat ET. it actually the genuine CAT adapter,It is also the ONLY recommended adapter for CAT ET, but obviously other ones will work. It will work fine for the version you have, and 2011C is actually the newest version.
